How to Book Your First Live Lesson

Want to practice with a real instructor? Here's how to find one and book your first live session.

Step 1: Go to Your Schedule

Click Schedule in the left sidebar to open My Learning Schedule. From here you can see your upcoming lessons at a glance, or click Find Instructors to get started.

Step 2: Browse Instructors

On the Meet Our Expert Instructors page, browse available teachers or use the filters to search by Language, Specialty, or sort by Top Rated. Each instructor card shows their course count and student count.

Step 3: View an Instructor's Profile

Click View Profile on any instructor to see their full bio, teaching philosophy, years of experience, qualifications, certifications, hourly rate, and the courses they teach.

Step 4: Book a Session

Click Book a Session to open the booking form. Fill in:

• Session Title — a short label for the session
• Lesson Type — One-on-One, Trial Lesson, or Group
• Category — the topic area for the session
• What would you like to focus on? (optional)  let the instructor know your goals

Step 5: Select a Date and Time

Choose your Session Duration, then pick a date. Once selected, the instructor's Available Time Slots will appear, these are based on the instructor's own availability, automatically shown in your local timezone.

Step 6: Confirm and Book

Review the Price Summary (hourly rate × duration), add any special requests, then click Book Session.

Step 7: Find Your Lesson on Your Schedule

Your booked lesson will now appear on My Learning Schedule, ready to join once it's time.
