Assalamu 'Alaykum Part Nine is the final course in GoArabic's nine-level Modern Standard Arabic program for adults. It develops advanced communication through the study of religion and public life, Arabic narrative, influential books, thought, visual arts, intellectual movements, poetry, and historical covenants. Eight thematic modules and two revision modules connect sustained reading and listening with discussion, textual analysis, and purposeful writing. Learners examine authors' arguments, interpret literary language, and support their own views with relevant evidence while distinguishing a source's position from their personal response. Language study extends control of common broken-plural patterns and structures for oaths, exclamation, condition, praise and blame, exception, encouragement, warning, ellipsis, and emphasis. Rhetoric progresses from simile, metaphor, and indirect expression to verbal and semantic embellishment. Writing tasks develop persuasion, short fiction, source citation, definitions, effective prose, summaries, reports, and literary analysis. Cultural readings place these skills within Arab and Islamic intellectual and artistic traditions. By completing the course, learners strengthen their ability to read independently, discuss demanding topics, and produce clear, organized Arabic for academic, cultural, and public communication.
