How to Assign Courses to a Class
Once your class has students and instructors in place, the next step on your institution's online Arabic platform is assigning the courses they'll study.
Step 1: Go to Manage Groups
Log in as your institution admin and open Manage Groups to see your list of classes.
Step 2: Open the Class's Courses Page
On the group card you want to manage, click the book icon among the row of icons on the right.
Step 3: Assign a Course
Click the Assign Course button. A pop-up will appear letting you select from the courses made available by the platform admin. You can also mark each course as mandatory or optional for students in the class.
Step 4: Enroll All Students
Once a course is assigned, an Enroll All button will appear next to it. Click this to automatically enroll every student in the group into that course.
Step 5: Assign Additional Courses (Optional)
Repeat the process to assign more than one course to the same class, there's no limit to how many you can add.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I assign a course to only some students, not the whole class? The Enroll All button enrolls every student in the group at once.
What does marking a course as "mandatory" do? It flags the course as required for students in that class, helping distinguish core coursework from optional or supplementary material.
Can a class have more than one course assigned? Yes, you can assign as many courses as needed to a single class.
Do I need to assign courses before or after adding students to the class? Either order works, but assigning courses after students have joined means you can use Enroll All to add everyone at once.
