How to Complete Your Profile

Before you can access courses and start learning, you'll need to complete your profile. Here's how.

Step 1: Log In to Your Dashboard

Sign in to your account. You'll land on your Learner Dashboard, where you'll see a "Let's get started!" prompt encouraging you to pick a course or find your level.

Step 2: Open Your Profile

Click My Profile in the left sidebar, or select My Profile from your account menu in the top right.

Your profile page shows a Profile Completion meter, broken into two parts: General and Learning Preferences. Both need to be filled in to reach 100%.

Step 3: Fill In Your General Profile

Click Edit Profile. This opens four tabs:

• Personal Info — your name, username, phone number, date of birth, and profile photo
• Location & Languages — your country, city, address, and the languages you speak
• Profile & Interests — a short bio, occupation, education level, interests, and optional website/social links
• Advanced — your current Arabic level, motivation, preferred class type, learning path, and goals

Move through each tab, filling in what applies to you, and click Save Changes as you go.

Step 4: Set Your Learning Preferences

Back on your profile page, click Learning Preferences. Here you'll select:

• Your preferred learning styles and lesson topics
• Your preferred teaching methods and instructor qualities
• Your schedule availability for sessions
• Any accessibility needs

Click Save Changes once you're done.

Step 5: Check Your Completion Percentage

Head back to your profile page to confirm your completion percentage has increased. The more complete your profile, the better GoArabic can match you with the right courses and instructors.
